Mission

To provide timely and efficient services, leading to employment, to all eligible individuals with disability to enable them to achieve and maximize their individual level of independence.

Core Values

To respect individual dignity, personal responsibility, self-determination, and pursuit of meaningful careers.  We respect the privacy, rights and equal access of individuals with disabilities.

Guiding Principles

Millions of Americans have one or more disabilities.  Disability in no way diminishes the right of individuals to live independently, enjoy self-determination, make choices, contribute to society, pursue meaningful careers, and enjoy full inclusion and integration in the economic, political, social, cultural, and educations mainstream of American society.

Goals

To provide individuals with disabilities, especially those with the most significant disabilities, with the tools necessary to:

bullet Participate as full partners in the vocational rehabilitation process.

bullet Make meaningful and informed choices.

bullet Live independently.

bullet Obtain gainful employment which is consistent with the strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choices of the individual.
