Senior Citizen Awareness Network (SCAN)
Project SCAN was developed by the Macon County Sheriff's Office.  The goal is to match volunteers in the community with senior citizens in the community.  SCAN officers drive to the homes of these seniors, making personal contact, providing home security surveys, distributing crime prevention information, etc.  SCAN Officers also report crime and emergency situations to E-911.  For more information, please see the pdf flyer.  (If you print the flyer, be sure to choose the option "Shrink oversize pages.")
