The Chancery Court of Macon County handles civil cases only:
general civil cases, domestic relations cases, orders of protections, collection
of delinquent taxes and tax sales.
The Judge for the Chancery Court is the Honorable C.K. Smith.
Judge Smith normally works out of Hartsville but travels to Macon County for
court.
