FEBRUARY VALENTINE DINNER- February 14th, 2010 - Red Barn Winery-Contact: Judy Clements at 615-688-6012 or visit: www.redbarnwinery.com.
A reception will be held Sunday, February 14, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., at the Macon County Welcome Center, 685 Hwy 52 Bypass West, to honor Ancestral Artist James Lester Davis and the Davis family. Also honored at the event will be the poets from the recently released book "The Beauty of the Butterfly". The reception is hosted by the Macon County Arts Council; the public is invited. A jazz combo from Cumberland University will
visit Macon County schools on February 22 and 23. On Monday, February 22, 10:15
a.m., the combo will also perform at the Senior Citizens Center of Macon County,
329 Hwy. 52 Bypass East. Under the direction of Mr. Stephen Coleman, the
10-member combo will give a 30 minute concert of jazz favorites. The visit by
the Cumberland students is sponsored by the Macon County Arts Council.
